Look at this handsome boy! Peapod showed up at a cat colony we work with suddenly one day. He was timid and wanted nothing to do with us, so we set traps out because all the new guys have to get their kid making ability taken away friendly or nice. Peapod was successfully trapped, and we were careful with him since he was so timid. We assumed he was a feral cat. During transferring him from our trap to a carrier, he laid down on my lap as if he knew me. Something a feral would never dream of. With careful introduction in a bathroom, turns out Peapod was just as nervous as us and was actually a huge cuddle bug. Since finding this out, Peapod was examined personally by us and he was covered in dirt, with a swollen jaw and matted to no ones business. He was obviously a cat that was never meant to be outside. Peapod has since had a spa day, and is looking better as the time goes on. He needs a new inside only family that will groom him and keep him clean PLUS make room for him at the foot of your bed every night.
